wish I could go but just can't afford to. paying on taxes and medical bills...can't afford anything else. Have emailed and/or called my reps to let them know my thoughts on the issues of the day and Im excited for those of you that can attend. Remember those of us that can't go so you will be representing us as well.

Unable to attend though will be sending letters and statements to members of our Congressional Representatives to be gathered from DeRidder Tea Party Members on August 29th meeting. Still hopefull that DeRidder may be represented in Washington.

Unable to attend, my husband has just started chemo/radiation treatments for the next 6 weeks. Also friends & family planned a benefit and you guessed it... it's on Sept 12th. Have a great trip to everone attending. You will be in prayers. Monica

What do you guys think about this, forming a caravan of cars driving to DC?

We could plan on leaving on Wed the 9th?

The people from South Louisiana meet in Lafayette Wed morning, then drive up I-49 and meetup with those of us from the North then we can head west on I-20 and meet up with any from Ruston and Monroe?

My wife and I will be there from Houma. We are going up the 11th and will be at the rally early on the 12th.

We are working to get the money to go. We truly want to be there to represent our area of Louisiana/Beauregard Parish.
